Today, we are announcing our plan for reopening our schools in August.

In recent weeks, we sought input from parents, students, and staff. They made it clear that they wanted options. We heard that message loud and clear, and our plan provides three options. The options are:

Traditional – Students return to campus and the classroom with their classmates and teachers. They follow the traditional school schedule and bell times. This option features an array of health and safety measures to keep the campus and classrooms clean and to encourage safe social distancing as much as possible.

mySchool Online – Students engage in online learning while remaining connected to their school. This model follows the same schedule and bell times as the traditional model. It features daily online interactions with teachers each class period.

Virtual – Online learning through our nationally recognized Pasco eSchool. This learning model features flexible scheduling supported by Pasco County teachers. Students may engage in school work during non-traditional hours.

One our ReOpening web page, you’ll find more details on the three options, as well as some Frequently Asked Questions, and a button to submit additional questions.

Parents, here’s what we need you to do. After reviewing the options and getting answers to your questions, please choose which option works best for your student. On the website you’ll find a blue button called Select an Option. Please select your option before July 1. It will help us plan for a successful return to class in the fall.
