| **We only accept applications and only have one induction ceremony for new members once per year in the spring.
*Dates to be determined each year; *Will be announced in the Morning News and on JLMS website |
| **Transfer students who are already members of the NJHS chapter at their old school can transfer their membership to our chapter. Email a copy of your Induction Certificate and student information to kpatton@pasco.k12.fl.us. |
| **Who’s Eligible to apply: Current 6th and 7th grade students *Current members DO NOT re-apply! |
| **Minimum Requirements:
*A minimum 3.2 unweighted GPA is required (not rounded to 3.2) *Conduct: No Level 2 or 3 discipline referrals (no OSS/ISS) *Overall show of GOOD citizenship |
| **Application/Selection: *Eligible students are invited to complete an application highlighting leadership, service, scholarship, and character during the OPEN application period (TBA—usually in March before Spring Break).
*Dates/Deadline: Will be announced in the Morning News and on JLMS website. |
| ***Requirements to maintain membership: (Once you’ve been inducted)
1) Must pay annual member due by given due date. 2) Must ATTEND monthly meetings 3) Maintain GPA of 3.2 each nine weeks. 4) Maintain good citizenship (no discipline referrals, etc.) 5) Complete 10 hours of service volunteer hours by the given due date in May (meetings, tutoring peers, any community organizations, etc.)
