Are you ready to shine? The PTA Reflections Program is your chance to showcase your artistic talents and win amazing prizes!
What is Reflections?
Reflections is a national arts program that provides students with the opportunity to explore their creativity and express themselves through various art forms.
Areas of Competition:
* Dance: Create a captivating dance routine (video, less than 5 minutes)
* Film: Produce a short film (video, less than 5 minutes)
* Literature: Write a poem, short story, or script
* Music: Compose a piece of music or perform a musical piece (less than 5 minutes)
* Photography: Capture stunning images
* Visual Arts: Unleash your imagination through painting, drawing, sculpture, and more
Why Participate?
* Express Yourself: Share your unique perspective and creativity.
* Win Prizes: Compete for awards at the local, county, state, and national levels. The national prize is a whopping $800!
* Develop Your Skills: Learn new techniques and improve your artistic abilities.
* Have Fun: Enjoy the creative process and make new friends.
How to Participate:
* Choose Your Art Form: Select the category that best suits your interests. You can enter more than one category.
* Create Your Artwork: Use your imagination and skills to create your masterpiece. It must be related to the theme “Accepting Imperfections.”
* Submit Your Entry: Submit your artwork along with your application to your art teacher by December 6, 2024 or email your art, video or essay to
jlmsptsa1@gmail.com. You may also bring them to school and have your teacher put them in the PTSA mailbox.
